Before Ordering this key make sure that the vehicle is using 315 Mhz. Remove the trunk floor trim panel and locate the SPID label. Locate RPO – XL7 OR XL8 on the label. Dealers must write XL8 over XL7 If they did the repair. This key will only work on XL7 (315 MHZ) systems on 2016 models.
